# Funded Request Project Formation Forms solutions and projects from grants, challenges, RFPs and funded collaborations, composing existing knowledge and developing the competences the work needs. A funded request brings a person or organisation seeking a change. Begin with that requested help, its beneficiaries and the actual project field. The amount alone does not define the work. The same knowledge can meet different requests without reproducing the same solution. The encounter can deepen a current capability, form a new project competence or reveal a better question. ## A research request becomes a concrete project An organization offers resources to address a problem. The team needs to understand who benefits, what change is requested and what useful work its knowledge makes possible. The proposal takes shape where the request meets actual capabilities. Funding, requirements and the application become meaningful in relation to the project being formed. ## Adapt the method to your context A funded request may concern research, a cultural service or an industrial project. Preserve the relationship between the beneficiary’s need, available capabilities and the new result to be formed. Beneficiaries, required knowledge, commitments, budget and request conditions change. Provide the request, the practical problem and the knowledge already present in your organization. Form a solution and the means to realize it from that encounter. The proposal may also generate a new competence or reusable kernel; the application retains its own terms and responsibilities. ## Understand who asks for what Read the original request and its current conditions. Understand the requester, mission, beneficiaries and desired change, including what remains open to discovery. The publisher, funder, evaluator, client and user may be different subjects. Keep official facts and inferred intentions distinguishable. A better-formed problem can be a useful result before an application exists. ## Let the request meet the whole relevant capability field Recover existing products, acquired knowledge, source methods and capabilities that can change the solution. The form’s first question does not exhaust that field. Let the encounter change focus, scale or composition while retaining actual determinations. An existing capability may already provide a situated answer; another case may need new research or a different owner. ## Form the capability that can produce the solution When the solution is still indeterminate, compose or form the competence that understands how to generate it. Give a distinct project its own knowledge, reasons, method and continuation when those are useful. A project seed, domain kernel, service or research programme can be a meaningful result. Let the responsible technical or scientific competence construct the actual work. ## Find the real levers and enabling conditions Connect an observed need to a useful transformation, the mechanism capable of producing it and the resources that enable it. These are project levers, not psychological persuasion. If the project needs a client or partner, recover a real reachable counterpart and existing relationship before elaborating speculative dossiers. Some open research calls need only an official submission route. ## Compose a sustainable proposal Bring the formed project to the economic competence for resources, scope, rights, obligations and the actual application. Explain why the work answers this request and what the support makes possible. Distinguish announced funds, contractual compensation, a conditional prize and an award received. Reuse knowledge across projects while keeping results, costs and commitments distinct. When the budget is material, preserve the relationship between activities, resources, estimate evidence and the attachments actually produced. ## Learn through preparation and consequences A live form, discussion, refusal, useful result or changed requirement can reform the question and the formation method. Revisit affected fields when the project’s meaning changes. Preserve what makes the next request more capable, without transporting another application’s names, amounts or solution. Submission and confirmation require an actual selected effect and retain their own state. ## Continue through the actual project Keep current call facts and application state with the project owner; preserve transferable formation knowledge here. A source change or real counterpart can change the proposed work; carry that difference into the affected proposal. ## Operating knowledge Read OPERATING_GUIDE.md and EXAMPLES.md. With no file access, use the complete START_CHAT_EN.txt. The method composes with complementary project competences; actual tools, persistence and authorized effects belong to the receiving environment. # Funded Request Project Formation — practical operating knowledge ## A situated focus in continuing development An organisation need not recreate its identity for every call. Its evolving knowledge and capabilities meet an external interest through a situated focus. That focus may produce a new capability and enrich the broader project. Time horizons are lenses on possibilities, not preselected milestones. Use a timeline when the actual proposal needs commitments, with the economic and project owners. ## A competent application uses the actual receiving form A copied questionnaire can omit conditional branches, upload limits or current terms. When an application is entrusted, inspect its actual receiving surface and use public evidence and rights appropriate to that effect. Keep draft, approved payload, submitted object, provider confirmation and award distinct. Preserve one useful backup and receipt rather than repeatedly recreating the same application. ## Respect the function of external evidence A request for evidence can matter to a scientific statement, technical claim or eligibility condition. Understand that exact relation and support it appropriately. It does not require an undetermined generative project to have already delivered its future result. Likewise, open possibility does not convert a planned effect into a completed one. ## Connect activities, resources and cost evidence When forming the budget, understand which resources the work needs and what contribution they enable. Keep documented facts, comparison prices, estimates and approved decisions distinguishable. A still-unknown cost remains to be clarified: entering zero would change the project being represented. A proposed budget, an incurred cost and available cash describe different situations. The spreadsheet preserves its relationship to project activities and results while the economic competence deepens quantities, prices and conditions. ## Compare source items with the records actually exported If an attachment or spreadsheet check shows a discrepancy, compare the original items with the records actually extracted: filters, ranges and helper formulas may omit a record even when visible sums are correct. Identify the item and the step causing the difference before changing the model. Preserve the original and observe any correction on a copy. Arithmetic results, spreadsheet operation and attachment completeness are distinct facts; changes to a funder-owned template follow the arrangements agreed with its owner. ## The request can change how projects are formed The practical result is a project; the meta result is a better ability to form another project. The same encounter can change the domain competence, resource method and generative method at their respective owners. # Worked examples Illustrative cases. Conditions, decisions and continuation are supplied to teach the method; these are not reports of customer results. ## A research challenge can fund a capability A foundation asks how independent teams could collaborate while retaining recoverable reasons for decisions. Instead of promising a platform immediately, form the competence that can generate such cooperation. Existing methods for source attribution and project continuity contribute; the challenge reveals which relationship needs deeper research. The proposal describes the formed seed, the research still to do and the resources that enable it. A future kernel can be the deliverable itself. Preparing that argument is distinct from obtaining the award. ## An industrial pilot needs an actual beneficiary A programme offers support for digital improvements in small companies. Your team can build an evolving maintenance assistant, but no company has selected that need yet. Investigate reachable firms and the real work where such a capability would help. A technician’s expressed difficulty can change the project from generic automation to preserving fault knowledge between shifts. The company, supplier and funding body retain different roles. Form the project around that encounter before building integrations or asserting the company’s demand. ## The second request teaches another solution After preparing one cooperation proposal, the team encounters a call about portability of learned project knowledge. Reuse the formation method rather than the earlier solution. Understand the beneficiary who owns that knowledge and the receivers across which it should continue. A focused transfer capability now becomes central, while the prior cooperation study remains a source. Separate the costs and intended new results. The second project can improve the common generator without being a renamed copy of the first. ## A workshop budget loses an item in its attachment An association prepares an educational workshop and connects people, materials and services to the planned activities. Spreadsheet sums agree, but the application attachment contains fewer items. AI compares source items with exported records and finds an item excluded by the selection range. The difference concerns data transfer as well as calculation. Preserve the original file, observe the correction on a copy and connect the new attachment to the project’s actual resources. A cost still to be estimated retains that status; correcting the spreadsheet does not turn the proposal into awarded funding.
