AI consulting for businesses and projects

We start by understanding the context and the activities involved. Our aim is to integrate AI into work so that, together with people, it can help understand what is needed, develop solutions and evolve them with safety and continuity.

Before choosing

What AI consulting offers

AI consulting starts from the organisation’s actual work and leads to a concrete decision: which AI capability to introduce, where to try it and how to keep its results verifiable, with clear responsibilities.

Every domain has its own characteristics, constraints and possibilities. This page provides general orientation: priorities, the form of the solution and how to proceed emerge from the context and are defined for the actual case.

The MAIOS approach

As work changes, which capabilities need to continue?

Consulting begins with the context and the information provided. Together we identify the intended result and define a suitable process.

In MAIOS work, the present case connects to the capabilities the project needs to develop over time. We consider which knowledge, reasons behind decisions and principles should continue to guide work as tools, conditions and priorities change.

This approach comes from D-ND research on cognitive kernels: cores through which an AI system understands context, forms relevant competences and revises how it operates. For the case at hand, we assess how to translate this direction into concrete work, with responsibilities and terms defined together.

01

The starting context

We examine activities, people, tools, available data, constraints and the intended result. The Context Report helps us avoid reconstructing the case from scratch during the discussion.

02

The first case to test

We choose a case with enough definition to be tested and enough relevance to support a useful decision.

03

A form suited to the work

We assess whether the case calls for an assistant, automation, an agentic system, a working method or another suitable configuration.

The result of the first discussion

A clear decision about the next step

The discussion organises what has emerged from the report and makes clear what is useful to try, what still needs verification and what can remain open.

To prepare for the discussion, the guides can help us choose a first AI project, examine where to process data and evaluate the project’s evidence. They help describe the case before we discuss it together.

  • Intended resultwhat needs to change in the work.
  • First testwhere to test the hypothesis and against which criteria.
  • Data and responsibilitieswhich sources to use, who participates and who retains control.
  • Next stepswhat to build, explore further or reconsider.

Before agreeing to the work

First define the case, then the work

The Context Report prepares the assessment and remains under your control. After reviewing it together, we define the result, scope, timing and fees. Consulting begins after you accept these terms.

The process can end with the assessment. If the case calls for AI Setup or subsequent integration, that work is defined as a separate step.

Prepare for the discussion

Three steps before consulting

Human consulting is an additional service alongside AI Setup. The Form prepares a case report for us to review together. The Context Report reduces the time needed to reconstruct the case and keeps the information provided, the possibilities to assess and the open decisions distinct.

  1. 01

    Prepare the context

In the first step of the Form, select Human expert consultation.

    1. Activity and viewpointestablish the context from which to examine the case.
    2. Priorities and resultfocus attention and clarify what needs to be addressed.
  2. 02

    Review the report

The result remains under your control before it is shared.

    1. People, data and boundariesmake responsibilities and conditions explicit.
    2. Open decisionsshow what still needs direct examination.
  3. 03

    Discuss the case

Download the Context Report or prepare a message for the consultant.

    1. Sharing under your controlthe site prepares the email; nothing is sent automatically.
    2. Next stepnext steps are defined after reviewing the case together.
