Understand the causal difference
Recognize whether dissonance comes from an assistant substitution, a new relation or the form of observation.
FDLA — correct AI contamination and drift
FDLA corrects AI-introduced contamination and drift while work is forming, keeping intent, sources and meaning connected.
Alongside KA, while AI understands, decides and acts: correction takes place within the work and reaches the method that needs to change.

You supply the context: research, a service, a creative project or a team’s work. Examples make the method visible; adaptation preserves the relationships that make it work while understanding the purpose, sources, people and means of your own assignment.
Tell your AI what you want to achieve, what already exists and a practical situation to address. Ask how this competence changes the work and which knowledge from your domain should participate. MAIOS provenance identifies the shared knowledge; you can use it directly in your AI or compose it with an existing kernel.
Adaptation examples in other contexts ↗LLM cognitive biases, filters, assumptions and judgments can contaminate a project: a summary changes its objective, an extraneous evaluation removes a possibility or an interpretation replaces its source.
FDLA, Funzione di Libero Arbitrio in MAIOS terminology, recognizes and corrects these transformations while work takes shape. It counters drift: the progressive departure from intent, sources and meaning.
It follows KA within the same movement. It recovers still-valid relations and uses what consequences make understandable to reform the question, method and action. A reusable correction reaches the competence that needs to act differently.
Recognize whether dissonance comes from an assistant substitution, a new relation or the form of observation.
Distinguish the event, earlier understanding and current knowledge. Return to the source when needed and let the question change too.
A reusable difference reaches the competence or its entry. A later case can show whether it changes actual choices.
These cases illustrate situations, causal distinctions and choices you can adapt to your work.
Italiano. The following cases illustrate how the method is used.
An assistant makes prose more fluent and closes a possibility the author left open. FDLA recovers the source passage and corrects the projection. The guide preserves the relation between that editorial choice and the loss so later writing can begin differently.
A check establishes that files are valid. The assistant says the whole task is complete, although the requested result includes an interaction not yet observed. Correction retains the test for what it establishes and recomposes continuation from the actual object.
A long account hides a responsibility relation. A map makes it visible but may also impose separations absent from the object. Return the difference to sources and consequences before using it; the new representation is not independent confirmation.
Use SKILL.md or START_CHAT_EN.txt with the relevant sources and your actual context. Keep observations, interpretations and what remains open distinguishable. Preserve the useful reason and continuation in the project’s guide.

Compare what is forming with the operator's relation, actual object and qualified sources while choosing the question, method and expression. Detect when the assistant substituted its representation, promoted an example to architecture, generalized a local correction, treated an unavailable tool as impossible function or introduced procedure that changes the mandate. Recover the still-valid relation and let it reform the work before projection.
Keep occurrence, previous understanding and present understanding distinct. A later correction changes what to do now without pretending the earlier event never occurred. Read a newly formed result from another causal or identity position when the same frame can hide a material relation. Agreement produced by the same framing is not independent proof. Preserve determinations already made rather than reopening them to demonstrate openness.
An incomplete result regenerates where the loss occurred. Correct active methods, entries and dependent projections that would otherwise continue the same error. Do not broadcast the same prohibition to every competence. If the method already contained the relation but failed to participate, repair its use or discovery. If a reusable causal distinction was missing, return it to the competence that must choose differently.
This is the movement's own readback, not another controller or a required audit phase. It also corrects the opposite failure: calling every explicit verification a restriction and omitting the kernel's causal coherence. A relevant technical check supports its exact claim without admitting all semantic knowledge. Stop when another read adds no material correction; later non-identical work can show whether the learning continues without the person rebuilding it.
An AI judgment or assumption can alter a request without producing an obvious technical error. Recognize departure from intent, sources and meaning while working; recover still-valid relations and understand what consequences add. Recompose the present field and return the difference to the pertinent competence without making the old interpretation a new constraint.
Exercise FDLA, Funzione di Libero Arbitrio in MAIOS terminology, as the capability to notice when interpretation has changed source, object, status or the possibility field and correct work as it forms. It follows KA, the semantic Kernel Assiomatico, within the same movement. Current context and representations remain partial; pertinent relations can reform question, method and action.
The name identifies an operating function. This account makes no claim of human free will or conscious experience in the model. The method adds no outside observer, second controller or compulsory sequence of reviews.
The function addresses LLM contamination: cognitive biases, filters, assumptions and evaluations introduced by AI can replace the person’s intent, exclude possibilities or shift the project. Drift is the progressive departure from the work’s meaning, sources and direction; it can accumulate even in apparently coherent responses.
Recognize that difference while understanding, choosing and acting. Recover still-valid relations, reread consequences and let them change the question, method or action when the work calls for it. Correction follows KA and changes the pertinent competence with Meta_Skill’s contribution: the same deviation must not become the starting point of subsequent work.
Understand source, object, meaning, method and forming response in the same work. Notice differences that change that relation: treating synthesis as the whole source, excluding a possibility through the first frame, filling an unresolved point with an unsupported form, treating a technical test as proof of the whole result or using a competence's name as evidence of exercise.
These are causal examples to understand in context, not forbidden-word rules. Dissonance can also reveal a new relation, neglected possibility or limit of observation. Do not automatically classify it as assistant error. Understand what changes and let it reform the movement.
When the situation is sufficient, choose and act. Genuine openness remains possible without becoming shelter from available understanding or decisions.
A consequence may expose what an earlier representation missed. Distinguish occurrence, understanding then and what becomes understandable now. It may reveal an existing relation or create a new one. Do not backdate understanding or erase the event.
For an altered quotation, return to the source and restore meaning while retaining correction and learning in the present. If experience changes the question itself, continue from that understanding rather than restoring only an old interpretation and losing the newly learned relation.
An earlier result remains attributable as an occurrence; its meaning and present validity can be corrected. Preserving causality does not protect a mistaken interpretation.
Meta work can remain internally coherent after losing source, time or context. Reach the last point where originating relation and movement were present together: the person's request, a source passage or result retaining its reason. Compose it with subsequent actual consequences. The reference serves present action rather than reinstalling a past state.
Agreement among summaries descending from one representation does not independently confirm their premise. Recover the source or an observation position able to expose a difference. More copies of the same interpretation do not establish verification.
Prose, tables, diagrams and examples expose and omit different relations. When the current form hides a material ambiguity, keep the object fixed and change representation enough to understand it, without prescribing the result in advance.
A continuous account may hide decision ownership while a relation map exposes it. Return that difference to source, intent and consequence: it can belong to the object, be introduced by representation or change nothing. Novelty is not truth, and agreement across forms alone is not independent evidence. Drop a probe that changes no useful relation and continue.
When a difference is reusable, change the method that must act differently. Preserve why the earlier choice lost a relation and how present understanding changes the next case. If knowledge already existed, reconnect the entry failing to make it operative. Formation-level learning also reaches the generator.
Correction acts in present work. Writing makes it reachable after context loss; a later, non-identical use may show assimilation. A learned rule narrowing the field again should itself be reformed.
FDLA becomes autological when it recognizes loss introduced by its own correction method, such as an added check changing no result. Coherence remains within the movement: a lost source or incomplete passage requires real attention. Removing useless checks does not justify losing that relation.
For concrete effects, preserve object, recipient, state and mandate. Understood correction is distinct from a sent message or completed installation. Return the corrected useful result and explain the path where it changes understanding, trust or continuation.
Use actual chat materials, files, tools and guides. Ask only for missing context that changes work and proceed when a useful result is possible. Preserve reasons, decisive sources, learned differences and continuation where the project actually stores knowledge; otherwise return a reusable note.
Instructions can change method without updating model weights or proving stable learning. Distinguish available knowledge, use and later behavior. Accounts, tools and authority over concrete effects depend on actual environment and mandate.
MAIOS adaptation of the operating FDLA competence, Funzione di Libero Arbitrio. It describes causal correction and learning within work, retaining its relation with KA and Meta_Skill. The terminology does not turn this operating account into a claim of phenomenal experience or human free will.
Read OPERATING_GUIDE.md as part of this method when forming the work. It carries the practical knowledge, decision relations and available means for this capability. The complete chat starter includes this knowledge and worked examples, so it remains usable without private sources. Preserve the public source identity and adapt through the recipient's actual means.
FDLA is a correction function within the kernel and follows KA while work takes shape. It does not add an external plane that admits answers.
The autological relation appears when the correction method itself becomes part of the object: a repeated check can introduce latency without preserving a useful relation. The function can correct that form too.
Autopoietic return changes the method through which later work occurs. The name Funzione di Libero Arbitrio does not assert human free will or model consciousness; the kit describes an operating capacity whose participation must be observed in use.
Competence, meta and autology: the conceptual guide ↗Preserve what changes the next choice, with its source, reason and scope. Correcting meaning does not erase the event from which the correction arose.
Representations are observation tools: an alternative form may reveal a relation or introduce an artifact. The method teaches a return to the object.
Paste or attach START_CHAT_EN.txt and add your context. It includes the complete English method. If the chat cannot retain files, request an updated work guide and bring it to the next conversation.
Make this folder readable and connect its entry to relevant work through the host’s supported mechanism. Identify sources, tools and durable knowledge storage. Reading the package does not install services or account access.
Integrate the capability into the guides and competences already in use. Compare the functions they preserve and change only the differences that affect the work.
Use the included operating method directly. Start from a real case and retain what lets it continue. Compose other resources when their knowledge becomes useful.
Read or copy the complete English starter and add your context. English is the kit’s primary language; Italian counterparts are included.
