Find a product possibility in a research paper

A paper proposes a method relevant to a product. The assistant distinguishes what the paper supports, what the product implements and conditions still to be understood.

The key relationship. Reads signals through their provenance, time, contradictions and project relations, and brings useful knowledge into the competence that should work differently.

Adapt the competence to your work

You supply the context: research, a service, a creative project or a team’s work. Examples make the method visible; adaptation preserves the relationships that make it work while understanding the purpose, sources, people and means of your own assignment.

Tell your AI what you want to achieve, what already exists and a practical situation to address. Ask how this competence changes the work and which knowledge from your domain should participate. MAIOS provenance identifies the shared knowledge; you can use it directly in your AI or compose it with an existing kernel.

Turn sources and signals into useful project knowledge

This competence turns signals into knowledge connected to the work and, when useful, into a change in the method that will carry it forward. A signal may come from an article, a paper, a video, a conversation, an error, a contradiction or a meaningful absence.

Its value does not depend on the number of sources summarised. It understands what the encounter makes intelligible and which choice, question or capability may change in the present context.

Meet the signal in the context of the present project

Reach the source's actual content, author, time and context when they change its interpretation. Keep the source's claim distinct from what you know about the project. If you compare capabilities, read the method and guide of the actual object being compared: a released version, an evolving source and an individual installation may differ. A name or an outdated index does not prove that a capability is missing; the text of a competence does not prove that every environment can already exercise it.

Let the first reading change

The first impression is a starting point, not the boundary of admissible relationships. The knowledge encountered may make other sources, domains or questions relevant. Reread from the changed context when this can expose a difference: a contradiction, recurrence, absent condition, variation over time or previously overlooked possibility. Do not turn popularity, novelty or repetition into importance. Do not exclude a weak signal merely because it does not fit the current scheme. Stop when another pass does not change the work; do not impose a number of readings.

Understand the concrete contribution

Distinguish the signal from the knowledge derived from it, the ability to use that knowledge and evidence of a result. A source may make a question more precise, offer a practical example, provide external evidence, suggest a possibility or teach a method. These contributions can coexist. If the receiving assistant already possesses the knowledge but does not call on it, correct the relevant entry point; if a useful mechanism is missing, acquire it and make it operational. The fact that a relationship is already known does not make independent evidence useless.

Produce the useful return

Choose the form that brings the knowledge into the work: it may be a summary with sources, a precise question, a correction to the method, a hypothesis or a bounded experiment when one is actually needed. Do not produce a ranking, report or experiment by default. If the knowledge changes how a competence should understand or act, integrate it there along with the reason. If a consequence concerns several competences, each receives the part that changes its own work. The mere availability of a document does not demonstrate that another assistant has read it.

Preserve scope and connections

Keep the source, time, context, observed difference, interpretation and decisive unknowns accessible. An operator's correction has an object and a scope: do not extend it to the entire strategy without reason. Research, provider access, installation, recurring monitoring, contacts and publication each retain their own means and mandate. You can prepare a possibility when the effect has not yet been selected; do not present it as already realised.

Signal Intelligence in practice: worked cases

These cases illustrate situations, causal distinctions and choices you can adapt to your work.

Italiano. The following cases illustrate how the method is used.

Find a product possibility in a research paper

A paper proposes a method relevant to a product. The assistant distinguishes what the paper supports, what the product implements and conditions still to be understood. The useful return may be a more exact question or an adapted method. An experiment becomes useful when it addresses that question.

Connect customer feedback and technical observations

Customers describe difficulty while technical data shows no errors. The competence connects the sources: comprehension, configuration or an uncovered case may matter. It keeps those hypotheses distinguishable and reaches the domain that can interpret them instead of selecting an explanation immediately.

Turn an execution failure into knowledge of the reading method

A procedure fails because it read a superseded representation. The signal teaches the distinction between finding a source and establishing its currentness. Correction reaches the reading method and its entry. The error log remains evidence of the event, not proof that every later use will apply the correction.

Apply the method to your case

Use SKILL.md or START_CHAT_EN.txt with the relevant sources and your actual context. Keep observations, interpretations and what remains open distinguishable. Preserve the useful reason and continuation in the project’s guide.

Operating choices with Signal Intelligence

Reads signals through their provenance, time, contradictions and project relations, and brings useful knowledge into the competence that should work differently.

Read the changed field, not only the first contour

A signal can be an observation, contradiction, absence, weak relation, experiment, repository change or conversation. Keep source, time and carrier distinct. Read what it makes understandable in the present field, allowing scale, recurrence, incentives or an unexpected competence combination to change the question. Novelty, popularity, repetition and fluent wording do not establish truth or importance. A weak signal need not fit the current schema to remain a sourced possibility.

When comparing a claimed new ability, enter the actual receiving competence and its accumulated guide. A living source, released package and installed receiver are different comparators. Existing know-how can be undiscovered, displaced by the assistant's framing, or made more capable by practical new knowledge. Repair the relation actually missing. Independent external evidence does not prove local performance. An experiment can answer a selected empirical question without becoming the default response to every signal.

Another receiver's report is evidence of its report; inspect native source and conditions when they matter. Distribute the smallest useful difference to competences that must act differently, preserving their owners. A shared file is not a notification or proof of uptake. An uncovered recurring field may justify improving an existing activity or selecting a new one through the real scheduler; no schedule is created by this method alone. Return carrier knowledge to acquisition, domain knowledge to its owner and general formation learning to the generator. A useful result may be a synthesis, changed question, invalidator, practical action or explicit unresolved relation rather than a scored signal card.

Read the complete operating method

Turn signals into knowledge connected to the work and, when useful, into a change in the method that will continue. A signal may come from an article, paper, video, conversation, failure, contradiction or meaningful absence.

Value does not depend on the number of sources summarized. Understand what the encounter makes intelligible and which choice, question or capability it may change in the present context.

Meet the signal through the present project

Reach the source's actual content, author, time and context when they change interpretation. Keep its assertions distinct from project knowledge. When comparing capabilities, read the actual object's method and guide: a released version, evolving source and particular installation can differ. A name or dated index does not establish absence; a competence's text does not prove every environment can exercise it.

Let the first reading change

First impressions begin observation without determining its admissible relations. Encountered knowledge may make other sources, domains or questions pertinent. Reread from the changed context when it may expose a contradiction, recurrence, missing condition, temporal difference or previously ignored possibility. Popularity, novelty and repetition do not establish importance. Do not exclude a weak signal merely because it does not fit the current schema. Stop when another pass changes no useful relation; impose no fixed reading count.

Understand the concrete contribution

Distinguish the signal, knowledge derived from it, capability to use that knowledge and evidence of a result. A source may refine a question, provide a practical example, supply independent evidence, suggest a possibility or teach a method. These contributions can coexist. If the recipient already possesses the knowledge but fails to reach it, correct the entry. If a useful mechanism is absent, acquire it and make it operational. Prior knowledge does not make independent evidence useless.

Produce the useful return

Choose the form that carries knowledge into the work: an attributed synthesis, precise question, method correction, hypothesis or bounded experiment when useful. Do not default to a ranking, report or experiment. When a competence must understand or act differently, integrate the knowledge and its reason there. If a consequence affects several competences, each receives the part changing its own work. A document's availability does not prove another assistant has read it.

Preserve scope and connections

Keep source, time, context, observed difference, interpretation and decisive unknowns reachable. A person's correction has an object and scope; do not extend it to the entire strategy without reason. Research, provider access, installation, recurring monitoring, contacts and publication retain their actual means and mandate. Prepare a possibility before an effect is selected without presenting it as already realized.

When research changes research itself

The direct work turns signals into useful knowledge. A meta relation emerges when that knowledge changes a competence, source composition or question-forming method.

The relation is autological when this competence recognizes that its own selection criterion excluded a decisive source and changes that criterion. Rereading one source from an enriched field can change understanding; it does not create an independent measurement.

Learning and continuation

Preserve the reusable difference: a better-discriminated source, corrected assumption, useful combination or newly possible method. Domain knowledge returns to that domain; knowledge changing competence formation returns to the generative method.

Research can continue on request or inside an existing scheduled activity. This resource transfers a method; it does not by itself create a monitoring service or agent network.

Reachable operating knowledge

Read OPERATING_GUIDE.md as part of this method when forming the work. It carries the practical knowledge, decision relations and available means for this capability. The complete chat starter includes this knowledge and worked examples, so it remains usable without private sources. Preserve the public source identity and adapt through the recipient's actual means.

Signal Intelligence and improvement of the method

When research also changes how research is done

The direct work turns signals into useful knowledge. A meta relation emerges when that knowledge changes a competence, the combination of sources or the method through which the question is formed.

The relation is autological when this same competence recognises that its own selection criterion was excluding a decisive source and changes that criterion. Rereading the same source from an enriched field can change understanding; it does not create a new independent measurement.

How Signal Intelligence learns through work

Preserve the reusable difference: a source assessed more precisely, a corrected assumption, a useful combination or a method that has become possible. Knowledge specific to a domain returns to that domain; what changes the formation of competences returns to the generative method.

Research can continue on request or within an activity already scheduled. This resource transfers the method; it does not by itself create a monitoring service or a network of agents.

Use Signal Intelligence in chat or a project

In a chat

Copy or attach START_CHAT_EN.txt and add your working context. It includes the complete method in English. Keep the useful return for the next session; the assistant may converse in your language.

In an agentic environment

Make the resource folder readable to the assistant, point it to SKILL.md, and choose the project documents that will carry continuity. Tools and actions depend on the actual environment and mandate.

With or without a kernel

With an existing kernel, connect the method to the relevant competence and guides. Without one, the complete starter supplies the operating method for the work described here.

Give Signal Intelligence an assignment

Read or copy the complete English starter and add your context. English is the kit’s primary language; Italian counterparts are included.
