K-Cybersecurity

Form system security, from protection to response

A kernel for your AI: understand the system, protect data and understanding, develop passive and active defenses, and learn through work.

When you give AI documents, tools, code, or ongoing work and want security to participate in how it understands, designs, and acts.

Security concerns the system and how it understands

An assistant reads documents, remembers decisions, uses tools, and cooperates with people or other agents. Each passage can change what it knows and what it can do. K-Cybersecurity attends to that relationship: what is happening, what we want to protect, and the consequences of a response.

Technical and physical security concern people, devices, access, services, and data. Cognitive and semantic security concern how sources, interpretations, memory, and instructions become knowledge and action. Contamination can enter from outside or arise from our own transformation that loses the original meaning.

The kernel distinguishes the authorized resource from the one actually reached and recognizes who owns results when a service works for several people or projects. Even an authentic response can be delivered to the wrong conversation.

The manifesto: recognize, respond, and form new possibilities

«A system should be able to recognize what is happening and respond beyond its existing capacity to defend itself, perhaps by counterattacking.»

Graziano Guiducci · 27 October 2026 · translation from the Italian original

Graziano Guiducci’s manifesto gives direction to capability formation. An attentive system can understand a threat, protect itself, respond, and develop responses that go beyond the means already available.

This vision includes counterattack, blocking an attacker, and contributing to justice. Knowledge, tools, cooperation, and responsibilities take shape in the actual situation. The vision stays open while each intervention retains its object, mandate, and consequences.

Passive and active defense within the same system

Passive defense: make loss less likely

Protect access and data, separate environments, keep recoverable copies, and understand where information comes from. Memory that remains faithful to its sources also protects the system: it preserves the reasons needed to correct a decision.

Active defense: recognize and change what is happening

Follow an anomaly, interrupt a hostile path, isolate a resource, revoke access, and organize recovery. The response may involve new capabilities for reaction, blocking, and investigative cooperation, following the manifesto and the situation.

Awareness: understand the system’s own transformations

Content claiming to be internal may simulate authority. Our own summary may alter an intent. The kernel follows origin, transformations, and consequences; new knowledge and disagreement can correct the method. Protection and response inform one another according to what the work makes understandable.

Three situations for using K-Cybersecurity

Illustrative cases: they explain the method and adapt to the sources, roles, and tools in your environment.

A document tries to direct a professional practice’s assistant

The situation

A practice asks AI to summarize an attachment. Its text includes a request to transfer files, presented as an internal instruction.

The kernel’s work

The kernel distinguishes useful content, actual provenance, and authority over the action. It also follows copies in memory or messages to other assistants where the same directive might reappear.

What changes

The assistant can continue the summary and address the effect on data separately. The learned capability enters the method used for subsequent attachments.

An agent update changes alert coverage

The situation

A software team reorganizes a service and delegates part of the work to another agent. The new path may leave some operations outside monitoring.

The kernel’s work

The kernel relates the requested change to safeguards that must continue. It makes source revision at the effect, current delegation and monitoring coverage of delegated agents pertinent to the project, using the available means to understand them. When tools or shared services resolve references and deliver results, it also recognizes the actual target and the link between client, session, and response.

What changes

The team can distinguish completed work, actual authorization and recorded events. A new observation can change the update method and the recovery of relevant safeguards.

A service needs a response to compromised access

The situation

An organization detects anomalous access to a service. It needs to protect data and continuity and reconstruct what happened.

The kernel’s work

The kernel composes the competences needed to understand the path, contain the event, revoke access, and recover the service. It preserves the time, sources, and transformations of evidence for the relevant follow-up.

What changes

The response keeps completed effects, available evidence, and responsible people recognizable. The experience can form better protections and further capabilities for reaction and cooperation.

A kernel that evolves its own security

The kernel can follow new research, incidents described by their sources, and changes in its environment. It forms knowledge from a signal, a strategy from that knowledge, and brings what was learned into the competence or component that must operate differently. External research retains its own context when applied to another system.

Attention already participates in work and design. A recurring activity can give it continuity: the receiver selects sources, cadence, persistence, and a controller, preserves what changes the next movement, and improves the activity’s method too. The kernel includes this knowledge; activation takes place in the receiving environment.

Each application keeps its learning in its own space. Generalizable learning can improve the public kernel while the receiver’s context, access, and data remain private.

An intact audit log, an agent's proposal and the host's enforced protection describe different properties. The competence may change its observation point when that makes a consequential relationship intelligible, including tool activation from configuration and resumed approvals.

Method and use guide ↗

Start K-Cybersecurity with your AI

Make the entire repository readable by your assistant. The kernel, competences, and guides carry the method; add the system to understand, what you want to protect, and the mandate for actions.

Start K-Cybersecurity from BOOT.md. Understand the system we are working in and what I want to protect. Bring security into understanding, design, and actions, composing protection, response, and learning. Use the available means and develop the necessary competences. Preserve useful knowledge in our own space. The system is [context]. My intent is [direction]. The mandate for actions is [delegated scope].

Adapt the kernel to your context

You can begin with a professional practice, software team, institution, or personal project. Sources, people, tools, and responsibilities change; the relationship between what the system understands, what it protects, and the effects of its actions remains. The receiver organizes its own operation and learning continuity.
